USING OUR SUMMER LEARNING PATH
Our summer learning path is designed to promote love of learning and help your child prepare for challenges ahead. Some students were provided specific instructions on types of activities and materials to turn in following the program. A teacher will be checking with those students several times this summer to make sure they are on track. Students who were not provided specific instructions can use the program as well.
Our "task in a box" is designed for all students. By the end of the school year, or when you enroll, you will be given a box. Do not open it until August 1st, when instructions will be posted. To complete the content of the box, students have to read the assigned book, as the task is related to the reading. Therefore, all students should read the book.
Our site is child friendly and easy to navigate. It will also help students improve technology skills that will help them with all the new tech applications they will encounter in our magnet schools.
We recommend that you review the guide video with your child. You can review the video at any time. As always, supervise your child any time they use Internet.
